Great post. I enjoyed this much more than the essay itself, which doesn't hold a candle to Malcolm. Someone like Sarah Manguso could conceivably pull off an essay like this (she wrote a great review essays on aphorisms that took the form of aphorism) but after reading this Nersessian's piece earlier this week, I retained almost nothing about it a few days later.
